Heather Carpenter

Heather was born in Anderson, Indiana, but has moved back and forth to Fort Myers, Florida, as family circumstances changed. She graduated from high school in Florida but returned to attend and graduate from Indiana Business College.

Her first employment out of college was with the office of the Anderson mayor, a job she calls a “great experience where I learned a lot.” From there she moved to several other municipal jobs with ever-increasing responsibilities.

Always seeking a challenge, Heather saw an opportunity in the insurance industry, specifically in the area of Worker’s Compensation, in which industry she eventually became a claims adjustor.

In late 2004 Heather and husband, Brad, decided to move their family to Fort Myers, where they bought a home and embarked on new careers. Heather joined Thompson Family Law in September of 2005.

The family-oriented Carpenters, including daughter, Amanda, and son, Cole, spend much of their leisure time following and supporting the kids’ sports, as well as visiting with their extended family in the area.
